Still growing!Dec 28, 2008
By J. Richmond Arrived in great condition and excellent packaging protection. Has been growing! Grew a lot the first year, showed some buds the second year. No cherries yet but maybe next year!
Lapins Cherry is so prolific you won't know what to do with all the cherries!Jun 01, 2011
By J. Bockius I have a ten year old Lapins cherry tree that has rewarded our familt every year with an amzing amount of high quality yummy fruit! It requires pruning to develop side branching and to keep upward lateral branching tro a minimum but the rewards of this variety will blow you away! So resistant to spliting and doubling is this variety, and each year, regardless of weather, you will be rewarded with a bounty of fruit! Wonderful! Only thing I must criticize is the price this nursery is asking for this tree. I do not think I paid more than ten or twelve dollars for my tree. Given the inflation rate, I would expect it to cost maybe twenty five dollars, but whatever you pay, you will be rewarded if you take the care required of cherry tree culture.
