Spectacular Italian LemonsSep 07, 2011
By Rick Amatulli It isn't often that we can reccomend a company without hesitation. I ordered two Italian lemon trees and a Meyer lemon tree 5 years ago from Clifton's. The trees were healthy and well branched when they arrived. They were very well packed and thrived beautifully once transplanted to large pots on my NY patio. They spend 5 months year protected from the coldest weather, but have no problem with cool nights down to the upper 30's. Today these trees are 7 feet tall and almost as wide and bear crop after crop of the most beautiful and fragrant Italian Lemons I've ever seen. The fragrant blossoms are not to be believed. The lemons are twice the size of store bought lemons and the zest is superior to any other variety. They are very juicy as well. I make Limonecello regularly from these lemons and it is a true taste treat. The Meyers are equally good. I've ordered other plants from Cliftons and have never been disappointed. They are a first rate nursery.

Dwarf Lemon TreeJul 27, 2010
By John D. Wirenius My Santa Teresa dwarf lemon tree arrived from Cliftons Nursary, Califorina slightly sooner than expected. It looked tired from the trip and it lost many leaves while in transit, but it did have flowers and a few tiny lemons. It was all of 3 feet tall. I carefully transplanted it in an 18 inch pot and have kept it watered well and lightly fertilized. Many new shoots have appeared and have grown 5 to 6 inches. All of the tiny lemons dropped probably due to the very hot weather in NY this July and many of the new leaves are curling. A couple of new flowers have appeared and formed into new tiny lemons and I'm hoping they won't drop. I have a nice place to keep it over the winter. I expect someday to get a usuable lemon from it.

Italian Lemon TreeDec 15, 2009
By Jane in Seattle I ordered an Italian lemon tree as a gift for my mom. This is a hard-to-find specimen, but Clifton's had a good supply. The customer service was excellent - prompt, friendly and informative. The tree was beautiful and healthy when it arrived in short order and in perfect condition. I would definitely order from this seller again.
