When you open a box with a plant from Clifton's Nursery, you will see that we go to great lengths to pamper our plants. We know you will be pleased. Please consider our plant material not only for yourself, but for gift giving too!
Your plants will arrive at your doorstep carefully cradled in a package engineered specifically for our nursery. As an added benefit, the plants will arrive in their original container with their original soil mix---to minimize plant shock, we do not bareroot the plants prior to shipment.

• Burgundy plum has medium sized fruit with reddish purple skin. The flesh is deep red, mellow, sweet.
• When eating your fresh plums, know that the pit is small giving you more fruit to enjoy. Use fruit for fresh eating, cooking, drying and jams & jellies.
• The Burgundy plum is self fertile, so no need for another tree, especially important if space is at a premium.
• This plum variety only needs 250 to 350 chill hours, so a good choice for mild winter areas, yet it will take some cold. Ripens early July, but keeps well on tree till mid August.
• Shipped as a potted five gallon tree in its original soil and container.
